Serving Enid, OK
At Northcutt Toyota, our associates are excited about giving you the full Toyota ownership experience. This begins with the selection of a new vehicle that lives up to our unique expectations and needs. The RAV4 is a compact crossover SUV with four-wheel drive capabilities across all trim levels. It was released in 1994, and the RAV4 Hybrid debuted in 2016 as a more fuel-efficient alternative. Our customers frequently ask us about the differences between these two vehicles.
Performance
From a performance perspective, the capabilities of these two models are comparable despite having unique powertrains. The RAV4 is equipped with a 2.4-liter Dynamic Force engine throughout its trim line, and this engine delivers 203 horsepower. If you opt for the RAV4 Hybrid, your crossover SUV will pair this same 2.4-liter engine with a multi-electric motor. The hybrid configuration produces 218 net horsepower, and it is uniquely linked to an all-wheel-drive integrated management system. Shared mechanical features between both models and their trims include active cornering assist, anti-locking brakes, an excellent suspension system, power steering, hill start assist control, direct fuel injection, and more.
Appearance
The 2020 RAV4 and the RAV4 Hybrid have almost identical exterior designs that show off their modern, capable functionality. These are designed to be adventure vehicles that have the full performance abilities that you need for work and play, and they likewise look amazing in an urban environment. While the hood is relatively smooth and has a gentle angle until it bends sharply into the grille, the sides have a stunning personality with contrasting aspects from front to rear. The grille turns downward and trends toward the foglamp ports. Below the grille, the air vent has the same downward turn. At the same time, the impressive headlights have dramatic LED elements and angle sharply upward.
Features
You can select from several trims for both the gas-powered RAV4 and the RAV4 Hybrid, and this makes it easy to find a RAV4 or RAV4 Hybrid trim that is an excellent fit for you.
