Performance

The three Venza trims are powered by the same hybrid powertrain that delivers exceptional power while conserving fuel. This is a Dynamic Force four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine connected to an electric motor and an ECVT. If you drive the Venza, you can appreciate 219 net horsepower as well as on-demand all-wheel drive, active cornering assist, and other gear. The 2020 RAV4, on the other hand, is available with a gas engine and a hybrid alternative. A 2.5-liter, four-cylinder Dynamic Force engine with three driving modes produces 203 horsepower. The hybrid trim level combines this engine with an electric motor. It has four drive modes and delivers 219 net horsepower.

Appearance

As your comparison of the 2021 Toyota Venza and the 2020 Toyota RAV4 continues, you will notice that the Venza has a tapered, sophisticated exterior design with a tall, smooth hood and an aerodynamic roof. The front shows off a chrome bar that runs through the grille and underneath both headlights. The 2020 RAV4’s exterior has a flatter hood and a taller cabin. The grille dominates the flat-nosed front end, and the headlights and lower front air vents are aggressively styled.

Features

Inside the 2021 Venza, you will find an 8-inch touch display screen with a standard sound system in the lower trims or a 12.3-inch screen with a JBL sound system. This is compared to a 7-inch or 8-inch display screen in the RAV4. These models share several interior features at different trim levels. For example, they both have a dual-zone auto climate control system, a wireless charging station, heated seats with Softex material, USB ports, and other equipment.
