I have owned 4 bmw's and two mercedes s class. They are all good cars and I enjoyed driving them. For comfort the s class is way ahead of bmw. The interior styling is also, in my opinion, far superior to any car I have ever owned. If you want bmw performance all you have to do is hit the sport button and it drives just like a bmw. With that option the steering becomes tighter, and the transmission gears are changed. And they didn't,t forget the suspension, it also becomes much tighter for cornering. I don't know why they put that option in such a luxury car but its nice to have. It's a real eye catcher because I can't believe the people that comment on it. I'm hooked. A happy S class owner.

I've been driving Mcbz practically all my life. Started with old BMW's in the 1970's then went to Mcbz. Many E Class' later I just decided to buy an S63 sedan at retirement. Love everything about it except the price and depreciation factors. That goes for most cars anyway. So I wind up with the S63 and E Sedans at the same time. Had to get rid of the E because the S totally spoiled me. No comparison. Traded in the E and now I own the S63 Sedan and the S550 Coupe, both 2016. I love both cars but as far as comfort and performance the sedan is best. Prestige and excellence all the way for both. When you drive either you feel like you are "King of the Road". The S63 unknown to me requires summer tires and winter tires. I had no idea but that was ok. Everything about these cars is expensive but when you want the best you get what you pay for. No real complaints. I'm enjoying being the "King of the Road". If money is not a real issue then get one (or two).

Owning an Edition 1 is like owning a 63/65. it has everything that the 63 has including the 10k crystal headlamp option and the AMG exhaust. I’ve had it tuned to be faster than a 63 and my infotainment system unlocked for full video at any forward motion. The 3D Brumester sound system is amazing and being a full Designo with every option MB offered for an S Coupe. The full leather interior in Bengal Red is insane. It’s by far the best car I’ve owned and I’ve owned 6 CL600’s.
